MongoDB Setup

Local and hosted MongoDB.

MongoDB is Auvyra's default database.

With Docker Compose

Nothing to do. The bundled MongoDB is configured for you.

Set the connection string in .env:

DATABASE_PROVIDER=mongodb
DATABASE_URL=mongodb://localhost:27017/auvyra

Use the connection string your provider gives you, including the database name:

DATABASE_URL=mongodb+srv://user:[email protected]/auvyra

If the password contains special characters, percent-encode them. Allow your server's IP address in the provider's network settings.

If the URL has no database name, Auvyra uses auvyra.

pnpm db:init

A success prints the server version. A failure explains the problem without printing your credentials.
