Auvyra

System Settings

Maintenance mode, search engines, analytics, retention, moderation and exports.

System Settings is for owners. It shows your Auvyra and Node.js versions, database engine, uptime and the space used by uploads.

Maintenance mode

Take your public website offline with a message for visitors. You still see the site while signed in, with a banner reminding you that visitors do not, and the dashboard keeps working.

  • Starts and Ends are optional. Leave Starts empty to close the site straight away. With an end time, visitors are told when you will be back, and the site reopens by itself then.
  • Keep the radio playing for visitors is on by default, so listeners can still press play while the website is closed.
  • Search engines are asked not to list the maintenance page, whatever your search settings are.

The settings page shows whether maintenance is on now, scheduled, or finished.

Search engines and sharing

Choose whether search engines may list your site, and set the description and image used in search results and shared links.

Website analytics

Enter a Plausible domain or a Google Analytics measurement ID, and Auvyra adds that service to your public website. These send visitor data to the service you choose, so check whether you need a cookie notice.

Data retention

Choose how long Auvyra keeps listener history and its song log: 30, 90, 180 or 365 days each.

Listener messages

Choose whether shoutouts and comments wait for approval, and list words that hide a message automatically. See Community.

Health checks

Shows whether your database and AzuraCast are connected, whether an API key is stored, and whether HTTPS and per-visitor rate limits are set up.

Security

A checklist of what to fix, worst first: two-factor sign-in across the team, accounts nobody has used for 90 days, and whether AzuraCast is reached over HTTPS. Here you can also require two-factor sign-in for everyone. See Account Security.

Move your station

Export website downloads your content, design and images as one file. Export everything adds listener accounts, subscribers, messages, applications and your song history, so keep that file private. Team accounts, API keys and email passwords are never included.

Choose a file imports one of these, and shows you what is in it first. See Moving a Station.

Maintenance tools

  • Sign out all other sessions ends every session except yours, which is useful if you suspect someone else has access.
  • Clear old activity deletes activity entries over 90 days old.

Activity history

A full, paged record of changes made in the dashboard.

Updates and backups are done on your server rather than here. See Updating Auvyra and Backups and Restore.
