Docker Installation
The recommended way to run Auvyra.
Docker Compose runs two containers: the Auvyra web app and a database. MongoDB is the default. To use another engine, follow its page under Database Configuration instead.
Install
git clone https://github.com/SkyBlox-Systems/Auvyra auvyra
cd auvyra
node scripts/generate-env.mjs
docker compose up -d --buildThen open http://localhost:3000/setup.
What the Compose file does
- Builds the web app image from the repository's
Dockerfile - Starts MongoDB 8 with authentication enabled and a password from
.env - Keeps MongoDB on the internal Docker network with no published port
- Stores data in the
mongo-datavolume, and Media Library uploads in theuploadsvolume - Runs the web app as a non-root user with a read-only filesystem and no extra capabilities
- Restarts both containers unless you stop them
Useful commands
docker compose ps
docker compose logs -f web
docker compose restart web
docker compose downdocker compose down keeps your data. Adding -v deletes it.
Change the port
Set AUVYRA_PORT in .env, then apply it:
docker compose up -dGoing to production
Put Auvyra behind a reverse proxy that terminates HTTPS, then set these in .env:
APP_URL=https://radio.example.com
TRUST_PROXY=trueAn https:// value for APP_URL makes session cookies HTTPS-only.
If AzuraCast runs on the same server
Set AZURACAST_ALLOW_PRIVATE_NETWORKS=true and use an address the web container can reach. Inside a container, localhost means the container itself, not your server.
