Custom Domains

Auvyra is self-hosted, so you already control the domain. Your station website is served at the root of whichever domain you use.

1. Point your domain's DNS at your server.
2. Run a reverse proxy, such as Caddy or Nginx, that terminates HTTPS and forwards to port 3000.
3. Set these in .env and restart. APP_URL also sets the addresses in your sitemap:

APP_URL=https://radio.example.com
TRUST_PROXY=true

Only enable TRUST_PROXY behind a proxy that overwrites X-Forwarded-For. Otherwise visitors can forge the address used for rate limiting.

A minimal Caddy configuration:
