Stream Configuration
Choose the stream your public player will use.
After a connection test, the preferred stream list shows every option AzuraCast reports for that station: mounts, relays and HLS, with AzuraCast's default first. You can also enter a custom URL, for example a CDN address.
The public player tries your preferred stream first. If it fails, it moves through the others automatically, so one dead mount does not silence your site. Browsers other than Safari skip HLS streams, because they cannot play them natively.
Audio bars and CORS
The audio bars on your website can only follow the music if your stream sends CORS headers, which let your website read the audio. AzuraCast's own stream addresses send them by default. A CDN or reverse proxy in front of your stream might not.
Auvyra checks each stream before playing it. Without these headers, the audio still plays normally, and the bars run a looping animation instead. HLS streams always use the looping animation.
Stream URLs and metadata URLs are different
A stream URL plays audio. The now-playing API address returns text data and cannot be played. Auvyra keeps these separate.
Use HTTPS
Browsers block HTTP audio on HTTPS pages. If your site uses HTTPS and your stream does not, the player says so rather than failing silently.
